Sadie.jpgSadie and Nate Peachey have taken a long family recipe on the road as they stated The Amish Baking Company. They grew up together on their family farm in Statesville, N.C. working and sharing chores including kitchen duties. They would share three big family meals a day, never lacking for fresh pies, cakes and of course, doughnuts.

In November of 2007, Nate and Sadie purchased their first food truck together to take their family traditions on the road sharing with the local Sarasota, Florida community as well as traveling the country sharing these yummy treats at fairs and festivals around the country. The break out onto a food truck was a natural transition for the pair after having served together in their family business in North Carolina serving doughnuts at local fairs in the region around their farm.

Today The Amish Baking Company travels around to locations such as the Florida State Fair in Tampa, FL; The Okeechobee County Fair, The Florida Strawberry Festival, Blum Plum Festival in Johnson City, Tenn; the Albuquerque International Balloon Festival and many more.

Rolling Stones Magazine quoted their yummy doughnuts as one of the best things they ate at the Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival
